Bruce Alexander & Jane Arden
Award-Winning Cinematographers Film Actors from the London Stage
Bruce Alexander and Jane Arden working with Film Studies students at the Lab. Wendy Popadynetz (left), Film Studies Faculty member, also directed three-camera sequences.

Budding cinematographers and film makers had the unique privilege of shooting alongside master artists Wexler and Dexter, capturing future actors and directors on film under the tutelage of two superb actors from the London stage.
Bruce Alexander and Jane Arden working with students in a second Lab workshop, held in front of a public audience on the stage of the historic Lobero Theatre, a professional venue in downtown Santa Barbara. In this From Script to Stage workshop, students from the Film Studies Department demonstrated various scenes, acted with and directed by Ms. Arden and Mr. Alexander. (Ms. Arden and Mr. Alexander’s workshops held in collaboration with the Lobero Theatre Foundation’s Actors From The London Stage program.)
